I’m not exactly an authority on this.

My husband does not have a beard or a mustache….in fact he creates mustaches you can stick on your face.  It’s true

I’ve been checking out blog and comments and it seems oily men do this different ways.  Some pre-mix their oils in glass containers (ones with an eyedropper seem the best to me), others just mix their oils as they apply.

Obviously if you are making them as a gift, you’ll want to get a container and pre-mix them.  I like to use these blue ones

Ingredients for DIY Beard Oil:

Woodsy & Fresh

  • 2-4 drops Tea Tree Oil
  • 3-5 drops Bergamot Oil
  • 5-8 drops Cedarwood

 

Wintry

  • 2-4 drops Wintergreen
  • 2-3 drops Idaho Balsam Fir
  • 5 -8 drops Citrus Fresh

Holiday Inspiration

  • 2-4 drops Wintergreen
  • 2-3 drops Northern Lights Black Spruce
  • 5-8 drops of Tea Tree

Subtle Woods

  • 2-4 Vetiver (be patient, it’s very viscous and takes a long time to come out)
  • 3-5 Sandalwood
  • 5-7 Lime

The Sacred Outdoors

  • 5-10 drops Cedarwood
  • 5-10 drops Frankincense
